Her lived experience offers practical, meaningful solutions for making change at a local level.

Monmouthshire County Council Access + Inclusion

Bethany is a leading voice in Country Living’s Access for All campaign, advocating for a more inclusive countryside. In this short film, she reflects on how becoming a wheelchair user shaped her relationship with nature—and why access is about far more than ramps and gates. Her message is clear: everyone deserves the right to enjoy the outdoors.

Country Living Access for All Campaign

As an ambassador for Ramblers Cymru, Bethany works to break down barriers to walking and champion accessible paths for all. In this video, she shares her personal connection to nature, and the importance of creating inclusive outdoor spaces across Wales. Her voice brings visibility to the many Disabled people excluded from landscapes they have every right to explore.
